The proposal

A Proposed Industry Collaboration

Superimmersive proposes a focused industry collaboration to develop immersive training around the partner institution's curriculum, facilities and 4IR initiatives.

This document sets out a 3-week Proof of Concept as the first step: a training requirement selected by the partner institution, developed against an agreed scope, then demonstrated and evaluated together.

  6. Potential

    Long-Term Partnership

Nothing in this document is an approved project. The Proof of Concept described here is a proposal for discussion.

The first project

Proposed Proof of Concept

One training requirement, one clearly defined scope, one fixed cost. The Proof of Concept is designed to prove the value of the approach before anything larger is committed.

  1. 01

    Select Training Requirement

The partner institution identifies the training need that the first project should address.

  2. 02

    Define POC Scope

Core functionality, interactions and intended learning outcomes are agreed in writing.

  3. 03

    Develop

Focused development against the agreed scope, timeline and budget.

  4. 04

    Test & Refine

Internal testing and refinement of interaction, pacing and clarity.

  5. 05

    Demonstrate

Hands-on demonstration to staff and, where appropriate, learners.

  6. 06

    Evaluate

Joint assessment of educational value and whether to extend the work.

The opportunity

Immersive training experiences around specific requirements identified by the partner institution. Each card opens a proposed Statement of Work. One area would be selected as the Proof of Concept.

If the POC succeeds

  1. MVP

Plan and develop an MVP for a learning module.

  2. Larger Training Project

Additional modules with broader curriculum coverage.

  3. Long-Term Partnership

Ongoing development, student exposure and licensed tools.

Mutual value

Value to the Institution

The collaboration is structured so that the institution gains capability, visibility and student opportunity alongside the training tools themselves.

  • 01

    Custom Training Solutions

Immersive applications built around specific institutional training requirements.

  • 02

    Student Industry Exposure

Opportunities for Gaming and IT students to gain exposure to real commercial projects and development workflows.

  • 03

    International Industry Exposure

Exposure to international technology standards and commercial requirements.

  • 04

    4IR Capability

Strengthen practical 4IR initiatives and immersive technology capabilities.

  • 05

    Multiplatform Learning

Training experiences can be developed for delivery across VR, web and mobile platforms, providing flexibility in how learners access and interact with the content.

  • 06

    Institutional Differentiation

Use immersive demonstrations during exhibitions, campus visits, industry engagements and other institutional events.
